Newmark Jam Factory Property Trust
500 Chapel Street, South Yarra VIC 3141
Newmark acquired the Jam Factory in December 2015 with a view to unlocking significant value through the repositioning of the iconic but underutilized property and master planning its future development.
Newmark’s vision is to create a leading mixed-use precinct in Australia, unlocking the full potential of what is the largest land holding on Chapel Street, a 1.8 hectare site. The Jam Factory will become the focal point of South Yarra’s vibrant lifestyle precinct, with technology-enabled office areas linked through a network of pedestrian laneways, local and international fashion flagships and boutiques, expansive dining and fresh food options and a 10-screen cinema complex. The scheme has an approved permit from the local Council, City Of Stonnington.
The property is currently in a pre-development phase, targeting office tenants and carefully curating the mix of experiential tenants that will be the new Jam Factory home.
